Our 2nd Annual White Cane Walk is an event to raise funds for The Sight Center's programs and services for residents of our community, as well as to increase awareness of the White Cane Law.
You will have the opportunity to experience the challenges that people who are blind or visually impaired encounter everyday.
Additional hands-on activities and games that encourage family interaction and education will be available. This year we will also have a Celebrity Spaghetti Eating Challenge. The challenge is for local celebrities to eat a plate of spaghetti blindfolded and with appropriate etiquette using proper eating utensils. The competition will be judged by a distinguished panel.
